New York, NY (September 24, 2019) – It is with deep sorrow that Last Mile Health acknowledges the loss of our colleague and friend David Nyenatiee on September 21 in Grand Bassa County, Liberia. At present, an investigation by local authorities is on-going and Last Mile Health is cooperating fully with the investigation.
We extend our most sincere condolences to David’s family and are committed to providing the family with all necessary support at this difficult time, including coverage of funeral and burial expenses.
The Last Mile Health team remains committed to our mission to save lives in the world’s most remote communities. We aim to honor David’s memory and legacy through our continued work to extend primary healthcare to all those living at the last mile.
